On September 2021, a joint meeting of the Modern Languages and Translation Department organised by the "Association of English Language Teachers" of the Shymkent City Secondary School No. 17 of Shymkent took place. The meeting was attended by senior high school students. Students asked Henry Summ, a U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, about the American way of life and culture, and learning the English language. Also, Senior Lecturer Beisembaeva Aigul Dairabaevna answered questions on educational programmes developed at the department and exchanged opinions. At the end of the meeting, the graduates were offered to undergo training and make a career in the educational programs "Foreign Philology" and "Translation Studies", prepared at Auezov University.
