On the 17th March, 2017 there was held “Tildaryn – 2017” regional competition among 17-21 years old fluent students in three languages of Shymkent higher and specialized secondary educational institutions in South Kazakhstan Regional Universal Scientific Library named after A.S.Pushkin. Students of the English Linguistics Department took active part in the contest and received prize-winning places. Among them, the 2nd year student Kulmetova Farangiz and the 1st student Shalbekova Madina of specialty 5B011900 “Foreign language: two foreign languages” received third place, 3rd year students Ergeshov Erlan, Mazhit Akmaral and 1st year student Burkhaniddin Zhansaya received letters of thanks.
