  On October 12,2017 according to the work plan of  Educational- methodical cabinet of the South-Kazakhstan region,the workshop: "Effectiveness of the Latin alphabet" within the program "Modernization of  Kazahstan’s  identity" was conducted  the specialized boarding school №12 named after M.Tasova, Shymkent. Candidate of  Philological sciences, associate professor Akzol Kalshabekov gave an interview for the Shymkent-Kazahstan TV channel. He mentioned that the transition to the Latin alphabet is a modern requirement.
