On March 15th, 2016 at 16:10 a teacher of "Foreign languages for humanitarian specialties" Kudaibergenova G.B. held a demonstrative lesson on the theme «Traditions in Kazakstan. Revision»with students of group EP-15-5k1. The demonstrative lesson was attended by the head of department and teachers with experience. The lesson was devoted to the traditional holiday Nauriz. Nauryz is the main holiday in a year of Kazakhs and many Asian peoples, celebrated for more than five thousand years. Nauryz is a holiday of spring, renewal of nature, beginning of a new year, new life. Nauryz celebration has pagan roots,it is a celebration of nature worship. Nauryz is celebrated on March 22, the vernal equinox. On this day, the heavenly bodies: constellations and stars, after a year-long cycle come to the point of their original residence and begin a new path - circle. Nauryz is a day coming to the earth goodness, light, when the flowers bloom, the birds begin to sing, the steppe is covered with lush green grass, streams begin to flow, down to earth New Year. Nauryz is the day when the good is established on the earth. The group EP-15-5k1 is consisted from the representatives of different nationalities, namely uzbek, tadjik, Turkmen and Kazakh. Every of them prepared their own national dish and explained the recipe in English language.
