Olympiad in English was held at the department on the theme "Language - Mediator of Culture" on May 11, the Tasks of the Olympiad took place in two stages:
I. Preparation of essays with slides on the theme "Language - the mediator of culture"
II. To read the text and complete its tasks.
b) write an essay on the topic "Actual problems of youth"
c) Performance of video and films in English.
The jury consisted of the senior teacher of the department of foreign languages in the humanities, Imangaliyeva D. B., the teacher of this department Zholdasova M.А. and senior lecturer Tastanova G.Zh.
Results of competitions (1, 2, 3): 1 place Алмаханова Айнура, EF-18-8р.
2 place Serikbay Adilet,UM-18-1к
3 place Yuldasheva Dera AP-18-2r.
