“Francophone Spring-2019”
For the first time, “Francophone Spring-2019” started in Shymkent. As part of its program, a number of events were held, in particular, the week of French cinema, the semi-final of the national competition of French speaking songs, the city competition of dictations, read by the ambassadors of French speaking countries among French teachers, the festival of French speaking theater.
Students and teachers of the department of English Linguistics took an active part in these events. In the song contest student of the group PHI-17-3k1 Zulipbek Aruzhan won first place. In the competition of dictations, the senior teacher of the department Eralieva Z.Zh. took the first place, teacher Ilyasova K.B. was the third. In the festival of the French-speaking theater, students of the English Linguistics Department performed 2 performances and were recognized as the best in the “Creativity” nomination. In general, the holiday of the Francophone Spring was very interesting and was fruitful for the department.
