On 6.04.2018, in the large assembly hall of our university, a city competition of performances in French was held as part of the francophone spring festival organized by the Embassies of Francophone countries (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada). It was attended by students of SKSU, Miras University, students studying at the courses of the French Shymkent Alliance, NIS students, schools No. 8. The contest was very interesting. The hall was filled with spectators-fans of the participating teams. The performances were prepared at a very good level, which was noted by members of the competent jury, which included a native speaker of Gaelle Ball, Saïda Dirraka, the wife of one of the directors of the Canadian company INKAI with son Oléandro, teachers of the French language of Shymkent. Due to age characteristics and levels of language knowledge, the main rivals of our team were the students of Miras. Both teams were prepared at a high level. The jury recognized that it was difficult to choose the best of the two teams. Both performances were on an equal footing. And it was decided to note the best actors from the two teams. We had Kenenbaeva Assel (the role of Fantome) and Turtash Zhansaya (the role of Inspecteur Charly). In short, both teams can consider themselves winners. Congratulations to all our students on the successful performance and we wish to further improve these results in the years to come.
